With the Certate SW, DAIWA offers an extremely resilient saltwater fishing reel for demanding fishing in the tropics and for halibut in Norway. Thanks to the MQ construction, the drive wheel can be designed up to 40% larger than in normal fishing reels of this size - this significantly increases power transmission and service life. The design of larger teeth in the drive wheel also improves the service life of the gear and the MQ construction offers an optimal, torsion-resistant bearing of the gear in the reel body.
The special painting process prevents corrosion under the paint layer. The ATD drag system in conjunction with the high-quality carbon fiber drag discs ensure optimum line release under load without high initial resistance and a long service life even with frequent extreme drills - ideal for medium-sized tuna, doggies and GT!
