The Airdrive Design is DAIWA's most advanced technology concept for the next generation of spinning reels. In the 24 Certate, it is integrated into the front unit and allows for a new level of bait control and handling – with maximum power and durability.
Indestructible construction for maximum strength
The one-piece MQ reel body made of aluminum ensures twist-resistant bearing of the gear and optimal power transmission even under extreme loads. The 24 Certate has been reinforced compared to its predecessor. The CNC-milled gear receives a special surface treatment, making the drive wheel more robust and ensuring lasting performance.
Water intrusion, especially from the reeling side, has been further reduced by an improved design, better protecting the reel from external influences.
Silky smooth operation and precise control
The innovative Airdrive axis and the Tough Digigear® gear allow for an exceptionally light starting resistance and guarantee a silky smooth operation - even under heavy load. The Airdrive rotor optimizes the reel's balance due to its lower weight and increases responsiveness when guiding the bait.
The Airdrive spool with a special casting edge results in impressive casting distances and further contributes to the weight reduction of the front unit.
